Cinemagic: Young Jury Panel Members Wanted
Do you enjoy watching films? Would you like to share your views on what you see on the screen with others? Ever thought of being a film critic?
If so, this year’s Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival for Young People is currently selecting a jury panel of 10 to 18 year olds to watch and judge short and feature films. The panel will be required to watch all of the films that are being screened in competition during the Festival (16 November-2 December) and to choose a number of winning entries.
Animated Exeter Call for Entries
Animated Exeter, the leading animation festival in the South West, is pleased to announce new competition categories for the February 2012 festival. The competitions are now open to entries from anywhere in the United Kingdom and we are currently seeking prize sponsors.

Creative England opens for business
Creative England opened for business on Monday 3 October 2011, announcing its first seven Board members and three key Senior Management appointments, and outlining details of new funding available for filmmakers in the English regions outside London.
The new agency will, for the first time, provide joined-up support for England’s creative industries outside of London, supporting Film, Television, Games, and Digital and Creative Services.
